Community Singing Circle @ KOH

April 7 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$10

Singing with friends and neighbors is an uplifting and healing experience. The Library of MusicLandria invites you to join our community singing circle on the first Sunday of each month, where all are encouraged to participate in musical creation!

This month’s circle is graciously hosted for a 2nd time by the Michael Boussina Inclusion Program at the beautiful & accessible KOH Library & Cultural Center.

How a singing circle works: Our leaders make up simple vocal melodies, giving a different part to each section of the circle. The parts change over time. Together, we create evolving, improvised vocal compositions.

Everyone can sing! This is a chance to exercise your vocal pipes without fear or judgement. There’s no need to have a “good voice,” read music, or know the words to songs. All are welcome. Your RSVP to rachel@musiclandria.com is encouraged.

Where: KOH Library and Cultural Center, 2300 Sierra Blvd
When: 2pm, Sunday Apr 7th (punctuality is much appreciated)
What else: $10/sliding scale donation supports MusicLandria; no one turned away for lack of funds
Snacks and drinks provided, please bring a re-usable water bottle.
